Rachel got her new glasses yesterday. She had outgrown her first pair and got a new prescription a few weeks ago, so we started shopping for some new ones. We got her new glasses from a really cool company that makes glasses just for people with Down syndrome. Due to the special features of their face, it is harder to get glasses to stay up on their noses. These glasses were designed to address that problem.. They seem to fit really well and she looks so much more grown up with her big girl glasses. The old pair she was wearing were actually made for infants!
