It's That Time Of The Year

The first Sandhill chicks of the neighborhood have hatched. Each year we watch the parents raise their chicks along the neighborhood roads, and sometims in the roads, as you can see. These guys are not afraid of people or cars, unfortunately. The chicks are adorable, but they grow fast, so I snapped some shots of them when I saw them for the first time today.
